- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Very good fish and chips. Have been there twice in recent weeks and same high quality fresh food both times. Wrote this review partly to offset some of the negative reviews I saw posted in the past. Several of those were 2, 3 + years old so maybe Peppers lifted their game ? All I know is that they are very good in 2016! There were also a couple of references to better fish and chips across the road from Peppers. Well, beware, there are 2 F & C shops across the road and one of them (closest to the old church) is one we abandoned to try Peppers. Thanks Peppers!By paul churchman, October 01, 2016
